Job Introduction
As a Catering Assistant you will support the team in basic food preparation and provide excellent service to both students and staff.
Role Responsibility
- Cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining room
- Ensuring Health & safety compliance is met
- Providing a friendly and polite customer service for all
The Ideal Candidate
We need someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools along with the following skills and experience:
- Previous catering experience
- You’ve worked as part of a team before in a fast paced environment
- You have your Food Hygiene level 2 (preferred, but not essential as training will be given)
- You have basic knowledge of health and safety practices
Package Description
Firstly, we offer fantastic hours. You’ll work Monday to Friday during school term time meaning more time with friends and family and no working at Christmas!
This role is:
- 17 - 22.5 hours per week
- Late shift usually finishes at 8:30pm. We also have opportunities to work with our events team which means shifts could run later
- 35 weeks per year based around term time – evenings and weekends will be required
- £10.42 per hour
- Summer work available with up to a 4 week requirement. This is paid in addition to your pro-rata monthly pay.
